Made Smarter Innovation Alley is the largest showcase of leading-edge digital technology start-ups and scale-up developers in the UK.
Innovation Alley runs through the heart of the Smart Factory Expo, which is part of Manufacturing and Engineering Week 2023 and is organised by The Manufacturer (produced by Hennik Research, part of NineteenGroup).
Funded by Innovate UK and supported by Innovate UK KTN, MSIA is open to university spin-outs, start-ups and scale-ups that are less than 5 years old, employ less than 10 members of staff and have an innovative digital product or service targeting manufacturers.
A minimum of 30 fully funded places are available from companies with innovative digital manufacturing
technologies in AI, machine learning, additive manufacturing, sensors and blockchain, robotics, immersive
technologies and IIOT across multiple industry sectors including medtech, chemistry, defence, nuclear, automotive, aerospace, food and drink and others.
Over 300 past exhibitors are now part of the Innovation Alley Alumni which provides access to a wealth of support, brand exposure, funding, and collaboration opportunities from across the innovation ecosystem, in the UK and internationally.
Made Smarter Innovation Alley is the UK’s leading showcase of leading-edge digital technologies that will change the landscape of manufacturing over the next five to ten years.
Located at the very heart of Smart Factory Expo, and running alongside Design and Engineering Expo, Drives and Controls and Maintec as part of Manufacturing + Engineering Week, Made Smarter Innovation Alley, sponsored by Innovate UK and managed by Innovate UK KTN, is an amazing opportunity for disruptive technology businesses to showcase their game-changing innovations targeting the UK’s manufacturing sector.

To be eligible companies must:
